Description
Hollywood is Dead is a podcast for filmmakers where we'll break down some of our favorite films, but at the heart of the podcast is a desire to explore the spirit of the storyteller. How are we supposed to navigate this industry? Am I supposed to be feeling these extreme feelings of doubt, fear and envy; of trembling excitement or nervousness? Does anyone else feel this way? The good news is we know the answer to this: Yes! Literally everyone experiences varying degrees of everything you're feeling. There is no shame in it. My goal is to blow our minds open and dispel any false narratives declaring that you have to have your shit together if you want to succeed. All you need to succeed is choose a goal, such as making a movie, and never stop pursuing it. This is the Stoic Storyteller.
“Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome.”
