The Life of a Catholic Military Priest w Fr. Peter Pomposello
Listen now
Description
I got to have an amazing chat with Fr Peter Pomposello who is the official US army chaplain for recruiting new priests into the US Army (or funneling them into whatever service they're interested in joining). A lifetime as a Catholic and a military kid/wife and I had no clue how intricate, involved, and extremely sacrificial the call to serve as a priest in the US military is. We chatted about his life, his vocation, and how we, as lay people, can help foster vocations to this specific call within the priesthood. Here are a few ways you can help: Talk to your parish priest and local biship about the need for US military Catholic chaplains. If you know someone discerning the priesthood have them contact the Archdiocese of the Military FIRST. Reminder, for only $4.99/month you can get all the podcast interviews completely unedited in video form!
