I always learn something
I’ve been listening to Home: On since it started. I was a fan of Entertainment 2.0, another DMZ podcast co-hosted by Richard Gunther. Home: On started shortly after I got into home automation. I never miss an episode. The length is perfect for my commute and having it bi-weekly ensures they are never looking for filler. Always quality material. There is a downside: Each episode results in me wanting to spend money! The most recent with the EcoBee 3 was incredible. I learned quite a bit about the system and spent the entire show trying to figure out where I should place the sensors in my house and how I could integrate it with the rest of my home automation equipment. Thanks to Richard for doing this show.

Richard's podcasts don't appear as often as some but when they do, they're always full of great guests and tackle the real issues of implementing this stuff in a world of many options from many vendors. I eagerly look forward to each one.Read full review »
