Description
Today we interviewed Shannon about her HBAC experience (Home Birth After Caesarean,). After experiencing a long induction (at 41+5 weeks) and the cascade of interventions in the hospital with her first birth, Shannon was labelled with "failure to progress" and ended up with an emergency caesarean. Shannon knew she wanted a different birth experience with her second baby. Shannon found her voice and had the physiological birth she wanted at home.
