Sedaris, Schwimmer, Keener are perfection!
I had no idea what this was about, and the first few minutes were a bit confusing, but it was none the less compelling. It’s pure wit and just the right bit of comedy as it gathers momentum as a thriller with perfect, gripping pace and intensity. As I continued, it became more and more enthralling. Each episode is better than the previous. And the shortness of each is just the right length for drive-times 😀 . Stylistically, Keener has such a compassionate and beautiful voice, so you can envision that character. Schwimmer is hysterically funny from his first appearance , and Amy Sedaris is Amy Sedaris!! PERFECT casting. I am usually not a fan of listening to “plays,” but this was perfect!!! ( FYI ,I was listening with a Bluetooth earpiece and accidentally pocket called someone as the episode phone was ringing, which led to sitcom-level back and forth confusion).

Gimlet has definitely had their ups and downs with shows. I can see great potential with this one. Story can take many directions and the format of aspect of time is very cool.

I usually have a hard time getting into fiction podcasts. This one was very immersive- great sound. I love that there's no fake reporter like many other fiction podcasts and it just jumped right in.Read full review »
