Andrew Sullivan UnHerd Interview - Who Threw The First Punch?
If you listen to this, be sure and listen to the whole thing. At one point, Sullivan gave his views on why so many people voted for Trump and will again, and why he’s afraid. It is crucial on this topic to understand an interviewee’s views on the Russia Collusion Hoax, the Mueller Report, the broken state of the federal bureaucracy (esp. DOJ, FBI and national security leadership), the measures described by Molly Ball’s “well-funded cabal” Time article, the “perfect phone call” impeachment trial, and the various credible reports of problems with voting in 2020. Many Trump voters see the forces behind these phenomena as attempts to subvert the rule of law and topple a duly elected president. I’d like to have heard such a discussion with Sullivan. To what lengths does he think Trump’s opponents will go to prevent a peaceful, lawful and orderly transition of power if Trump wins? ******** This would be the podcast I’d keep if I could only have access to one. Just when I thought the interview with the Afghan teenager couldn’t be topped, out Bari comes with Glenn Loury. These are two of the most touching and informative of recent interviews. Josh Rogin’s is tops in information and insights into today’s media/politics/science dynamic. And today with Jared Lanier I got a very colorful picture of this unique, intelligent and kind individual, who gave me hope for the growth of a creative middle class. I would never have discovered Bari Weiss, or gotten insights into these guests’ various worlds, if she’d not left NYT. I’m so thankful to be able to listen to these interviews.

I have been a fan for several years now. I deeply admire Bari’s intellectual honesty and authentic voice. This episode was powerful and important, and as the title suggests, perfectly illustrates the very Maoist nature of cancel culture and it’s repercussions. I hope it sees broad exposure and is...Read full review »
