In this episode of the Honky Tonk Heroes Podcast, I sit down with 19 year old singer/songwriter, Cody Powers, from Springfield Kentucky. Cody has been putting music out now for about a year and a half, and already has 2 full length albums, a long with several singles and EPs. Cody’s impressive songwriting skills give a similar feel to the style of artists like Charles Wesley Godwin. This is showcased best on his most recent release, an album titled “Logan Rd.” available on all streaming platforms. He is currently booking gigs in his home state of Kentucky, but will soon be branching out through the Appalachian region. Cody is another example of the cascade of talented singer/songwriters that Appalachia is turning out, and is sure to be a very notable part of the scene as he works to get the recognition he deserves. Thanks to Cody for joining, and thanks for all of your support as listeners!
