Jimbo Valentine is a graphic designer/artist who has created over 1800 gig posters, 50 album layouts, and countless merch designs for tons of Appalachian musicians. Jimbo has done work for guys like Daniel Cain, Logan Halstead, Arlo McKinley, Drew Cable, and most notably Tyler Childers. He designed the album cover and layout for Purgatory and The Red Barn Radio albums for Childers, and the cover of Dark Black Coal for Logan Halstead to name a few of the many incredible pieces Jimbo has released over the years. We discuss the Healing Appalachia Festival, the growing opiod addiction problem in the US, and his relationship with Tyler Childers among a few other subjects.
