My dad is deeply embedded in a crisis of alcoholism that has built up over the past 20 years and is currently at a peak of madness and destruction. He went to Clouds 2 years ago but left within 3 days in a state of total delusion about his own condition ‘It’s not for me I’m not on heroin babe (over-stressing the word heroin)... wine‘s different’. My point was that 4 bottles in a sitting lend themselves to creating a similar outcome. This year he’s had 3 seizures by accident. I don’t know if he’ll make it but it’s positive to hear your success stories in a time of helplessness and hopelessness. Thank you for your bravery in telling your stories and for the frank and funny details which I can really relate to having grown up with someone suffering with a similar plight. Many thanks, Lia”
