I continue to be not shocked but also dismayed by the intense negativity of the reviews here, which seem most infuriated that Dr. Byron refuses to force her voice into a bland, easily absorbed, inoffensive drone. The passion and care with which the author narrates her own work is one of the most unique and compelling parts of this podcast, and the fact that the story is sordid, drama filled, and more intense with each episode reveal, is just the icing on the cake.
