SUMMARY  Kayla's horse journey began in 4-H and became a successful marketing career at the Champion Center in Ohio. From the heartache of losing horses like Knockout and Louie to her victories with Mo, her story is one of resilience. She shares her shift from Western Pleasure to ranch horse showing, highlighting the challenges and rewards along the way. Drawn to the supportive ranch horse community, Kayla was inspired to adopt a Mustang after the Appalachian Trainer Challenge. She navigated the Bureau of Land Management process and brought home Walter, a Mustang with a touching story. Kayla shares the emotional journey of training Walter, building trust, and overcoming the fears of slaughter buyers and amateur status concerns.
