Jonathan 'Jonny' George, a Colorado family man, was brutally assaulted at a gas station on his fifth wedding anniversary. The incident occurred during what was described as an ordinary errand that turned into a nightmare. Jonny was severely injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital, where he underwent emergency brain surgery. Despite the initial survival, his road to recovery was long and uncertain. Unfortunately, Jonny's condition did not improve, and he was eventually taken off life support and passed away weeks after the assault. Jonny was a loving husband and father who was the sole provider for his family, and he did not have health insurance, leading to overwhelming medical expenses for his family.
