Presenter’s Biosketch: laude_thumbDavid Laude struggled and worried in college until finding his love of chemistry. Today, he is a University Distinguished Teaching Professor in UT-Austin’s Department of Chemistry. He is well-known in the UT community for his engaging Chemistry 301 classes. Dr. Laude is also Senior Vice Provost, and was recently featured in the Sunday New York Times Magazine for his work on improving higher education.
