Serious storylines and hilarious banter
I’m a big actual play junkie, and some Reddit post led me to HOB. I listened to House of Annihilation first and loved it. They honor the world and the story well but their interpersonal banter and asides are lighthearted and hysterical. A perfect blend IMHO. Listening to Blackout now and it’s all that and more - great world building there. I like how they’re not afraid to shy away from hard choices and disaster depending on the dice roles. It makes you feel invested in the characters. Good sound and music design too! Would def recommend to anyone who likes other actual play podcasts!

Love the absurdity and craziness that comes with RPG campaigns. Subscribed - can't wait to listen to more.Read full review »

Just listened to the last couple house of bob episodes. I was surprised by how engaging it was. The production is really good, it's paced well, the story is interesting, and the characters are fun. Nice work!Read full review »

You guys are talented! I can’t believe the amount of effort and editing that was put into the Disastroid production. This was a really great intro to both HoB and the role play genre. My daughter and I, listened to Disasteroid yesterday. I needed to thank you guys for an hour of laughs.
