“House of Cinema is the single greatest podcast to ever exist. There’s an inexplicable level of joy I get every time I click on a new episode. The host, Joe, is such a warm personality and has some of the best film taste ever.
One of my favorite aspects of this podcast is the ever-changing gauntlet of guests. From the early days of Ren, to the fun duo of Dillon and Olivia, and the most recent guests such as Claira, Nate, and Sydney. The guests all have such amazing personalities and it’s their differing taste in film that makes House of Cinema so refreshing. Nothing ever gets boring and Joe does an amazing job at changing the formula and keeping the content fresh.
So many different decades and genres are touched upon making it extremely accessible to anyone in the film community. My personal favorite episodes are all of A24 April, the Studio Ghibli hall of fame, and the top 5 favorite coming of age movies.
I have long commute so listening to this podcast in the car passes the time so well. Even at work in my downtime I will throw this podcast on in the background. Any chance I can get, you will find me listening to this podcast. This podcast has helped me get through so much in the past yearish and I truly hope episodes continue to come out. To Joe and the countless amount of guests, thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to make each episode. It may not mean much, but if anyone from the podcast ever reads this I just want you to know that you’ve made one person’s life infinitely better.
