House of Respect
As someone who is severely lacking in friends who have any interest at all in the subjects discussed on this podcast, I’m so grateful for these women. Listening to them laugh, love, and give nothing but positivity and wonderful insight into a fandom that is too often filled with… things that lead to the dark side… has made me in my passion for SW feel new and exciting—not the child hiding her force sensitivity after the prequels, but the one who lived in that world of pure lightness where there was no gate keeping, no constant dissatisfaction or hate for anything new to the Star Wars universe; just a little girl and her plastic lightsaber, wearing a Vader costume. Listening to them geek out together, and come together with such excitement before or after the release of a new episode or trailer has become something I look forward to almost as much as that first viewing. They don’t know me, but I am their friend.
