“I’m sorry. I was really enjoying this show until one of the hosts said something so ignorant, that I literally could not listen to the rest of the episode. I had to rewind three times to make sure I understood. I believe it was Sean who said “short end of the stick on that one” while whining because the husband is spoken to/looked at first in murder investigations. Just a reminder that your last episode was literally about a husband who murdered his wife. But just to help you understand better, in 2021, 34% of murdered women were killed by their intimate partner. By comparison, only 6% of men were killed by their partners. You can find this information on Google, or just by watching one of the many 20/20 episodes you guys referenced in this conversation. But yes, how sad that the husband is always the first suspect. Perhaps if fewer husbands killed their wives, they wouldn’t “get the short end of the stick” so often. Silly me, but I would have thought that the murder victim is actually the one who got screwed here, but what do I know. But if it makes you feel better Sean, just know that when a husband is murdered, the police also look at their wife. Hope this puts you at ease ✌🏼”
