“I’m not in the habit of giving bad reviews, but this podcast is awful and I’m frankly feeling like a fool. And I hung in there for all three seasons, believing in the slow burn other reviews said was worth it. The “realistic” conversations are too realistic. Banal and pointless. Talking about menus is a regular event. Whole episodes (hours) will go by in which you learn basically nothing- neither plot nor characters more forward. The actors themselves seem bored with the scripts. Even when action happens (which is exhaustingly rare!) they can barely rustle up an emotive tone. Supposedly they are “all in danger” for three seasons but you’re 2/3 of the way through S3 before they kinda, maybe have some danger. It’s a great podcast for falling asleep, but if you want action, mystery, or intrigue, this is not it.”
