Junk data, calls all reporting into question.
Episode 2 of the Musk/Twitter season cites California OSHA data to make a point about teslas safety record. “Tesla has three times more safety violations in that period than all the other car manufacturers combined”. Wow that’s a dramatic figure! I could hardly believe it. Then after just a moment of scrutinizing that in my head I realize that it’s because Tesla is the ONLY car manufacturer mass producing vehicles in California. Whoever looked up that data clearly knew that it was poor data to use and misleading and yet they still put it in the episode. When I listen to reporting I want to be able to relax and learn. I don’t want to feel like I need to scrutinize everything I hear so I’m not mislead. Unacceptable.

No matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, Axios delivers actual news. These aren’t opinions, they are facts. I’m grateful for a news source that really is based in factual reporting not just stupid rhetoric from either side.
