“Exactly the kinda discussion that’s interesting to listen to - basically about life and culture around us. Really appreciate both of them keeping each other honest - Bianca calling our Neal’s bs and Neal calling out Bianca’s. That feels like two friends talking openly and honestly with each other. Dig that a lot.
Three things to ponder - 1) I truly loved the 2hr-long episode duration. When it’s that long they have the time to discuss every topic in detail. The shorter 1hr episodes feel like they are rushing to get thru the list of topics without coming to any sort of conclusion on them. Don’t be afraid to have 2hr long pods. Perhaps Rogan’s 3.5hr-long discussions are too long, but at the same time 1hr-1:15hr is too short 2) the intro music is way too aggressive-sounding of a way to start a show about feelings. The mellower covers they got from listeners are way more pleasing to the ear. 3) for the YouTube video feed of it - the fact that their eye-lines don’t match is super confusing to watch. Neal is always looking up while Bianca is looking straight.
Overall really enjoy the pod and hope they keep making it.”
