“This will be the podcast for some people but it wasn’t for me. I gave 5 episodes a chance. She tells you a lot about her success and the big picture steps she used to get there but if you want the actual implementable steps you have to download them from her site and now you’re in the funnel. Episode 2 is about vacation mode and she talks about how she recovers in about 2 weeks by jumpstarting the algorithm. In the last two minutes she’ll tell you to get the tips on her website. Add on top of that that she’s clearly reading from script, which I would be guilty of as well, which just adds to the feeling of being baited in. If you care about people being successful don’t bait them into listening and then put the actionable steps in your click funnel. Give the listener everything they showed up for and then if they want to take things to the next step or get the advanced steps, for example, then send them to your site and sell to them. And there’s going to be a category of people that want and need that. But you are alienating those that came for content and don’t want to be marketed to just to get the meat of the content.
