“…the second episode with Republican Rep. Mike Lawler was a bust. Such a softball interview! The man voted for the meanest CR in congressional history, he is NOT a moderate, but a pretender who managed to get elected in a Democratic district. He knows the only way to get elected again is to APPEAR moderate. I think these two women — especially Claire McCaskill — are usually way sharper than this! They gave him a big platform to pretend some more, without any serious pushback. The victory of his Democratic opponent Mondaire Jones in NY CD 17 is the only way to win 2024 — have HIM on the show!
Btw, Lawler is ANTI-Abortion, without supporting a national ban, which is very convenient for him. Nobody asked him about this! He was coddled by Claire and Jen, just because he’s not full-on MAGA. Voted for Trump twice though!”
