Frank, Informative, Engaging
Found this recently while looking for smart learning on what foundations expect from nonprofits. I immediately became engrossed, listening to every episode driving from Atlanta to Florida. Among the many insights I learned was that our nonprofit is Not Qualified for Foundation support but what we offer other nonprofits is essential. This is shaping our new approach as we move ahead to 2030. Also, Judy raved about the value of the NTEN conference and I signed up to attend and volunteered to be a volunteer to save us some dough (application pending!). Finally, the Eisner Foundation focus on “age diversity” is one that matters to us. Many of our volunteers are older and concerned with staying relevant in their careers (the creative community is youth dominated). So! THANK YOU Judy and Trent. You have helped us rethink how we can best serve the nonprofits we serve through our giving model. Finally, how does Judy spell her last name?

More reviews of How We Run
After listening to three episodes it seems this podcast is very pessimistic. They state several times that you should not start a non profit. Very odd. News flash - everyone has a podcast too...

For someone interested in getting involved in a nonprofit, but knowing very little about how they operate, I found this series extremely beneficial. I want more!
