bickering has never sounded so good
Ive been listening to the show since Kate Langbroek was a host- I loved her, was disappointed about her departure and a little worried about the introduction of a few other characters along the way and their permanency. However Ed’s inclusion was a stroke of genius. The guy sounds strangely androgynous; probably because he doesn’t see gender, yet many of his views are old school and quite macho, as is apparently his bicep circumference. Hughesy is hard to summarise: sounds as if he’s just blown in from the outback, even his voice sounds fly blown; yet charmingly he’s always trying to please everyone despite his producer, the gorgeous Sacha french, with the NZ twang, indicating that he is a high maintenance bully. Add to this chaotic partnership Erin Molan, who I’d never heard of, but feel I now know and love as much, if not more than the others. She somehow manages a unique combo of super ditzy yet super brainy. Is she the meat in the sandwich or a third slice of bread? Though that was unintentional; its exactly the type of innuendo the three pretend to avoid yet bicker about endlessly: who’s being disgusting... who’s risking the station licence...who’s offending the children... who brought it up in the first place! My favourite segment: probably text trauma; but just love the individual and combined early morning rants which often deteriorate into a 30 second sessions of petty bickering. Radio gold.

Honestly, Hamish and Andy we’re always going to be hard to replace, but I cannot stand listening to these 2. Full of inappropriate comments, awkward silences, unfunny jokes that only gets laughs from each other, it’s like an awkward conversation you have when you run into someone from school you...Read full review »

Without Kate there is no show, no entertainment and no humour. What a misogynistic joke that Kate was paid less when she is the real star. Come back Kate ASAP please !!!!!
