Unfiltered, like a lot of great beers
TheZeroPointZero team was right: Randy Newborn SHOULD have a podcast. While a lot of hunting podcasts focus on tactics and gear—which is great—there was a blackhole in the chatter-verse where there should have been in-depth, well-informed conversations about the values and practice of wildlife conservation and hunters’ contributions to those efforts. Newborn’s podcast fills that void, and I for one am grateful. Hunters should know how to harvest animals, but that’s not enough. Paired w/ that expertise should be a deep consideration for the role of hunters in the 21st-century: their impacts on wildlife, their contributions to the lore and legacy of hunting, and their complex relationships with the land and its inhabitants.
