“Podcasts to novels, to YouTube horror. It’s the story telling for me. I’ve been chasing that feeling as a kid that I got at the campfire, when my Grandad would scare me out of my mind and wake me up in the middle of the night in my sleeping bag. I love this so much I think because the protagonist himself or really his reaction to everything isn’t the scary part but the underlying horror that would drive anyone crazy, to experience Eskew day after day. To the Rater that said this is only good to put you to sleep because of the narration… You obviously have the attention span of a child. I wouldn’t recommend any books outside of the JV section in fear that anything but the climax of the book would bore you.”
