Set in Mexico during Dia de la Muertos, Coco is the story of a little boy and aspiring musician Miguel, who despite his family's ancestral ban on music, desires to be a musician like his famous legendary deceased musician & movie star Ernesto de la Cruz, so he sets out on a journey journey to the “Land of the Dead” to meet his ancestors and find Ernesto de La Cruz with the hope that Ernesto de la Cruz’s blessing will show his family he is worthy of becoming a musician.
