“As an avid podcast listener but poor sleeper, I usually listen to BBC ‘Documentaries’ or ‘In Our Time’ series when trying to wind-down and get some shuteye and drown out partners snores. Looking for variation, I tried this and I love it. Wikipedia content on unremarkable topics delivered in a plodding and soft manner, the host’s voice is both soothing and pleasant to listen to. My only criticism is that on couple of episodes I’ve heard, the one advert that comes on midway through (have no problem with advertisements, gotta make a living!), while it’s delivered in the same manner by the host, is at a volume that is above the level of the podcast, which was quite jarring. I hope you keep going with these....thanks for the 💤’s!”
