“I first heard of ‘I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere’ many, many moons ago when one of the hosts (I believe that it was Bert, but it has been a long time and I can barely remember what I did yesterday) on The Country Squire podcast in which Jon David and Beau York discussed with Bert (again, I think that it was Bert; my apologies if I’m mistaken) the pipes and pipe tobacco that Sherlock Holmes partook of. Many of those of us who love to smoke pipes are fans of Sherlock Holmes and I enjoyed the episode so much that I gave a listen to I Hear of Sherlock Everywhere and have been a fan ever since.
The hosts are fun and pretty smart, the content is enjoyable, and many of the guests who appear are themselves enjoyable to listen to and are often quite knowledgeable about the world of Sherlock Holmes. The hosts come off as real friends in “the real world” and have good chemistry together. They are absolutely passionate about Sherlock Holmes and it really shows.
I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this podcast to other Holmes fans. I also highly recommend their other podcast ‘Trifles’, a 10-20 minute long podcast discussing some of the smaller details within the Holmes stories. Keep up the excellent work!”
