Great Concept but...
I don’t agree that not talking about the things that effect people’s daily lives is a healthy way to resolve things. If you’re married to a guy who supports a homophobic, sexist, racist, xenophobic politician or policy you’re not just going to be like “oh he’s a non-empathetic bigot but I don’t care because I love him!” No. Same with friendships. How do we navigate friendships when one friend is Black and the other supports a president who is a white supremacists? These stories are a bit too neat

The woman leading the podcast seems to simply want to promote her book. The conversations are between two privileged people who simply agree to just not talk to the other about politics. Listened to Carlos and Nancy and 100% related to it! But I was disappointed, after reflecting on the episode.
