This week we pull up an Apple Box and talk to IATSE Local 891 Senior Steward and Accounting Department member - Amanda Bronswyk. Meet your hosts: Phil Klapwyk Phil's professional background is a huge asset in his work promoting the motion picture industry in BC. Before taking up the role of Business Representative, Phil worked in all aspects of theatre, including management and direction. He worked for over 20 years as a lighting specialist on large-scale live and corporate events and high-budget feature films. Phil has a Master’s Degree in Theatre, a BA in Communications, and has taught graduate studies in theatre and communications. Crystal Braunwarth Spanning 20 years,  Crystal began her career in the production office as a member of 891.  Following her production office work, she played a pivotal role in productions as an ICG 669 Senior Unit Publicist. Crystal has managed all aspects of publicity on the ground, from interviewing cast, executives, and crew to writing and producing promotional content and representing the industry at Comicon events. Crystal brings this impressive cross-section of film and television industry experience to her role as Assistant Business Representative at IATSE Local 891. Crystal brings the culmination of her experience and skill to producing, directing and writing in her downtime, when not chasing after her four-month German Shepard and 3-year-old son.
