March is Endometriosis Awareness Month! Endometriosis is common in people with interstitial cystitis, and a hallmark of both conditions is chronic pelvic pain. This week, Callie is joined by Lux Perry (they/them), the CEO and co-founder of somedays, a company that created natural pain relief products specifically for pelvic pain and period pain. Lex shares their experience with endometriosis, the diagnosis process, and treatments and pain management. Lux also tells the story of how somedays was founded, an idea sparked by their experience in sports medicine. Callie and Lux talk about somedays’ philosophy for pelvic pain and what products they have created. The episode wraps up with Callie and Lux chatting about Lux’s approach to nutrition, especially during bad symptom days, and the importance of finding joy in food and eating.
