In the U.S., the House is advancing a bill to deploy AI and sensor technology at borders, underscoring the growing role of AI in border control. Decentralized Identity Gains Traction: The influence of web3 on decentralized digital identity is increasing, with proponents highlighting its potential to empower individuals with greater control over their data. This shift towards user-centric identity management aligns with the growing demand for privacy and security in an increasingly interconnected world.
