The data is stored in a cryptographically signed package that can be reused to verify identity without the biometric data being stored or shared. ● The threat of deepfakes continues to be a concern. Researchers are exploring the potential of AI models like ChatGPT to perform biometric tasks. There are also growing concerns about the potential for deepfakes to be used to manipulate elections.
