“I enjoyed the podcast at the beginning because I truly love seeing Latinas share their stories but this last episode was unsettling for me. The conversation on saying names in English is beyond more than what’s discuss but the systemic issue with Spanish language especially in our education. Another part is the way y’all discuss about other women and their body. There is nothing wrong with being fat but throughout this episode it seemed like a negative term, which is why I was unsettled. My intentions are not to insult or say anything negative, I just wanted to point out things that y’all can look out and be more mindful in the future. Like don’t get me wrong the chisme is good pero please be mindful of not putting women down for their looks and do more research on the history of latinx communities that might help more in understanding why things are the way it is today.”
