“I have been waiting for this one since the beginning! I worked at a company that was about to merge with another and would be laying off hundreds workers. It was a 100+ year old religiously oriented company where this kind of behavior was unheard of. We were all given this book. Thank you for validating how patronizing, asinine, and terribly written it was, and for capturing the way companies used it to justify their behavior. The message was loud and clear that if you’re upset about layoffs you’re just an inflexible dinosaur, stuck in the past.”
