Disappointing debut for ex-NBA announcer
Grant said in his first episode that politics and social issues shouldn’t be in sports, and that social media is deteriorating our society. No doubt he is entitled to those opinions. But I was surprised that in no way did he recognize that what prompted his firing was his insensitive All Lives Matter comment (about a social issue) on Twitter (social media). He literally did what he claims is everything that’s wrong with the sports world now. It’s contradictory, at the very least. I hope future episodes are better.
