Description
On the latest episode of iGaming Daily, supported by Optimove, Charlie Horner, SBC’s Media Manager, was joined by Ted Orme-Claye and Kieran O’Connor from the Payment Expert and Insider Sport team to talk about what they learned from their time at SBC Summit 2024.
Focusing first on the Payment Expert Summit, Kieran speaks about some of the biggest talking points from a panel on open banking, which discussed the problems with open banking, adoption issues with the technology and what the future holds for open finance.
One of the highlights of the conference was an appearance by the skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, who was interviewed live on the Meo Super Stage. A key message throughout the talk was authenticity and the trio discuss what brands can learn from this message in terms of choosing the right ambassadors and also the overall theme of their marketing.
Rounding off the episode, Kieran and Ted recapped conversations they had with some of the key stakeholders within the UK horse racing industry about what innovations can be brought to the table to help an industry that has become somewhat “stagnant” in recent times.
