“Believe me when I say that being able to listen to my news while on the go at work is a tremendous gift I don't take lightly. However, in my experience with this iteration of news, I feel as though the readers that are chosen for the podcasts...overdo it. A lot. From OVER enunciating (Both my Grandmother and Aunt are English Teachers so take it easy.) and just flat out failing at capturing the voice of the author seems very discombobulated in execution. I personally would like to hear a reader read as if they are the writers of the story. As if they are able to speak to me about the things I care about, not talking at me. I urge you to try and screen your podcasts before airing them due to them possibly being seen as a hasty attempt at adding another facet to IGN's content repertoire.”
