“…that the “rudeness/awkwardness” is a bit. If you’re going into this podcast not knowing much about the hosts, I can see how it can come off somewhat unsettling. Go watch Cool Mom on YouTube, it’ll help their dynamic on this show make more sense. Also, it is literally stated in the intro, “These are the raw tapes.” The “unedited” nature of this podcast is part of the experience!
That being said, if you are a fan of Jinkx Monsoon you will probably really enjoy this podcast even if you haven’t seen a single episode of Futurama. They go on random, often lengthy tangents that are quite entertaining, and when they do talk about the episode, you don’t feel lost. If anything, it may inspire you to actually watch Futurama. I started watching it after listening to all of the episodes, and it’s an awesome show that is still very relevant and hilarious over two decades later. Thanks, Jinkx and Nick!”
