“I love these three guys, I was a huge fan of their other now basically defunct podcast and really liked the interplay between their personalities there. If I could make a list of what I find irritating about this podcast: 1) way too many forced unfunny callbacks to earlier jokes/episodes 2) carry on trying to make a joke work for way way too long 3) there is no real feeling of an arc to these podcasts they’re just awkward and cringey moments tied together for an hour. 4) so much cutting each other off, which they didn’t used to do so I’m not sure why it’s happening now. There have been some decent episodes (Nick’s stories are always worth listening to) and I enjoy the recommendations at the end of the episodes but I can’t recommend this as-is. I keep trying to listen but have to stop because I can’t handle how awkward and forced it becomes.”
