Stop referring to Mifepristone as an abortion pill
Please, can we stop referring to Mifepristone as an abortion pill? I hear this from all media outlets. Mifepristone is a medication that has been used by emergency rooms for years, usually in conjunction with Misoprostol, to help women complete a miscarriage. We need to accurately refer to these medications to frame the argument properly. These are medications that help prevent sepsis and maternal death. If you’re going to discuss a medical topic, please invite a medical professional onto the podcast.

After the recent decision by the editorial board to not recommend a presidential candidate even though they had an article written doing so, I can no longer trust anything that comes from this publication. Democracy dies in darkness indeed. And the Washington Post is helping to spread the darkness.
