“In Contention is my go-to podcast for keeping track of the major happenings in the competitive Magic scene. There's a lot of good discussion of big tournament results, major news stories, and the occasional influential article. There is definitely a decent chance for some of the content not to be relevant to every person (e.g. if you don't play competitive events or certain formats such as Legacy), and the hosts certainly aren't all Magic pros who can speak with some authority as to their insights into the game. However, I find the podcast to be entertaining, well-produced, and a good way to keep on the pulse of the Magic community. And sometimes I even get some useful insight for building my Constructed decks.”
