You’ve cured my plant blindness!
I honestly don’t know how I stumbled upon this podcast, but I’m so glad I did! I am a scientist - I work with infectious diseases transmitted by insects. I used to think plants were static and sort of dry. But I was so wrong. I am now obsessed with plant science, the dynamic and clever diversity, the collaboration required to study and save endangered species. My mind is constantly being blown by learning about a new fungal pathogen or how to go about researching floral chemistry. Great show, Matt! For about a year now, I have listened every morning on my way to my own lab, and because of you, I take my wildflower and other flora guides with me on every hike. Keep it up!!! ☺️

I think the show could be called Any plant Anywhere. I really enjoy the podcast and have even contributed to the Patreon. My favourite episodes when the ecological interactions are the focus compared to the episodes that focus on a plant in isolation (biased being an ecologist myself).
