Great Botany-Based Podcast
The In Defense of Plants Podcast is a fascinating and educational foray into the plant kingdom. The host, Matt, is a knowledgeable botanist in his own right, but often interviews experts in specific areas of botany and conservation. In other cases, he takes the listener on audio field trips. You also might want to check out his extensive collection of supporting videos posted on YouTube. They offer a chance to see lots of great plants in their natural habitat.

This podcast is not your normal gardening podcast where they talk about how to grow tomatoes. Matt brings the scientific botanical community to those of us who are simply hobbyists and enthusiasts in an engaging and understandable way. Excellent content about important and interesting topics!

I really enjoy this podcast. It's just the right mix of botany, hiking, botany and information. Top experts giving solid advice. Well done.Read full review »
