Tone is important!
This ‘even the rich’ series covers some very interesting and important stories I want to learn more about. I’ve listened to a bunch of eps and I want to love it. BUT I hate the delivery so much, the more I listen the more I shudder. There’s nothing wrong with reading from a script, just own it and leave out the CLEARLY FAKE giggles and gasps of surprise. The light, mocking, sing-songy tone when talking about abuse and trauma is also extremely off-putting. I can’t be the only one thinking this!

Why does one of the hosts act like she’s hearing all this for the first time? It’s not like you decided to do a podcast and have no idea what it’s about. Other than that, great show. Wish the episodes were longer.

The off the cuff banter is too rehearsed. As a women who suffers PTSD from an abortion I had 50 years ago their giggling at the thought of a memorial was extremely hurtful. The story is interesting but the one girl dosnt have anything to offer and every time she chimes in I roll my eyes. Hurts the whole thing
