IN HER LENS In Conversation: Hundefreund. Hundefreund (a.k.a. Dogfriend) is a German short film currently making waves in the film festival circuit. In this episode, host Nadine chats with the short's Cinematographer (DOP) Louis Malcolm Reiss. Louis is a Berlin-based cinematographer, director, and visual artist. In this episode, Malcolm and Nadine discuss his love for creating images, and his journey to film school. Louis breaks down how he got involved with Hundefreund and met the creative team, and opens up about the on-set dynamics. He shares what equipment was used in the making of the short and what he hopes the film will show the world. Louis Malcolm Reiss is a cinematographer, director, and visual artist based in Berlin, Germany. Louis is currently studying image design at the DFFB. He has worked on various projects including documentaries, music videos, commercials, and short films.
