Bing Liu (he/him) is a Chicago-based director and cinematographer. He is best known for directing the extraordinary documentary Minding the Gap, which was nominated for Best Documentary Feature at the 91st Academy Awards. In this episode, Bing talks about the most important resource you have as a filmmaker- yourself and your unique truth. He shares his views on documentary: about cinéma vérité and DIY filmmaking.
