I could listen to every minute of Lady Bird’s diaries!
Having spent the past four summers reading Robert Caro’s masterful biographies of LBJ, I found this to be a beautiful accompaniment. I would gladly listen to all of Lady Bird’s audio diaries. This podcast does a good job of fleshing out the details. My only quibble is with the anachronistic, wispy Cat Power theme song. I certainly didn’t want a cliched 60s tune, but the original interstitial music is fine enough to serve as a theme without jarring me with what is used instead.

Just Brilliant AF. Lady Bird, her contributions to LBJ’s administration and her own work have been overlooked and undervalued. A fresh take on the 60’s so far. Cant wait for more episodes

Primary material and narration at flawlessly woven together. Would highly recommend it for any history buffs and for teachers looking for something fresh, well-researched and engrossing to assign for a class.
