So Chapel’s unwillingness to enter into conspiracy with Mitchell implies inside knowledge of Mitchell’s cooperation with the FBI/GBI as much as it implies purity of heart. everybody in that sheriff‘s office knew Mitchell was in forming. That’s why they threaten to kill him. So Chapel not being willing to parlay with him does not prove Chapel’s innocence.”
